Fall EMT Course Begins Sept. 29 in Central Square

Central Square -- The Oswego County Emergency Management Office/Emergency Medical Services will offer an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - Original/Refresher course beginning Wednesday, Sept. 29, at SOVAC Ambulance Training Center, 8 Gertrude St., Central Square.

This class is designed to cover all of the skills New York State Emergency Medical Services requires for certification of Basic Emergency Medical Technicians. The Certified Instructor Coordinator will be Dana Oliver.

The New York State written exam will be March 24, 2011.

The registration deadline is Friday, Sept. 24. To register, interested people may contact Oswego County EMO at 591-9150. Anyone with questions may contact EMS Coordinator Jim Jones at 591-9110.
